Mr. Weithman works with clients to help them better understand economic impacts to the transportation industry, which includes barge, rail, truck and ocean modes. Before joining the IEG Vantage team, Mr. Weithman spent 20 years in the commercial and industrial development industries working extensively with the Ohio Department on Development and local economic development agencies. As well with national and regional clients. Following that he worked six years in the Grain Merchandising and logistics industries for Consolidated Grain and Barge company and Superior Ag Resources, a regional Co-op. In addition to his Merchandising responsibilities, he conducted extensive basis analysis to determine the best markets for originating and trading grains. Mr. Weithman graduated from the Ohio State University Magna Cum Laude, with a B.S. in Agribusiness and Applied Economics and completed his Master of Business Administration at the University of Southern Indiana's Romain College of Business.
