Her work involves providing insight on country-level trends and developments affecting the upstream investment environment, as well as the forecasting of global trends shaping upstream above-ground risks.
Ms. Al-Shamma was previously a strategy consultant with Monitor Group in its Dubai office, where she worked for government, private sector, and nonprofit clients on a range of projects across the Middle East. She holds a bachelor's degree in international relations and French studies from the University of Pennsylvania, United States, and a master's degree in international affairs from Georgetown University, United States.
