Trucking Market Report: The Road Ahead
This event covers the following:
Maritime & Trade
Market Analysis & Forecasts

From March through July, the US trucking industry seems to have completed a cycle that would normally take at least a year, from a recessionary plunge to an unexpectedly strong recovery that is shifting pricing power to carriers. This isn't a straightforward, V-shaped demand-driven recovery, however. Several factors — especially unprecedented supply chain disruption and dislocation in the COVID-19 pandemic, and changes in consumer purchasing patterns — have affected the availability of truck capacity. Certain types of shippers, and carriers, are doing better than others, as the economic recovery looks different depending on your industry. What should shippers expect from trucking providers in the fourth quarter and in early 2021?
